Slash, Alice Cooper sign KEF speakers for ChildLine Rocks auction

Courtesty of radio station Planet Rock, music lovers have a chance to bid for a unique pair of very rock-themed KEF Model 205/2 Reference Series loudspeakers by taking part in an online auction, with all proceeds going to ChildLine Rocks, part of the ChildLine Charity, a service provided by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

Finished in satin black and carrying the white and red Planet Rock radio logos, the prize pair have been signed by the speakers have been signed by over 30 rock legends including Seasick Steve, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, REM’s Michael Stipe, Genesis’ Steve Hackett, Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, Van Halen’s Michael Anthony and many more.

Rock fans wanting to get involved need to visit KEF’s special auction site here; the item number is 320931417316. The auction finishes on 8 July.

The highest bidder will win not just win the KEF 205/2s but will also have a piece of genuine rock memorabilia like no other. All the money raised will be donated to ChildLine Rocks and will go to help the thousands of vulnerable children who experience terrible abuse and suffer in silence.
