German-headquartered Shure Europe is launching its range of Centraverse microphones, which has been designed to provide an affordable solution to a wide variety of installation applications.
The range consists of three models: a gooseneck, a boundary and an overhead. The manufacturer says these mics were created primarily to provide high quality audio at an attractive price-point in environments including offices, hotels, and government and education facilities.
All microphone offerings incorporate CommShield technology, which protects against unwanted RF interference from any portable wireless device, such as a smartphone.
The CV12 (12in) and CV18 (18in) gooseneck condenser microphones have a cardioid polar pattern and an optional integrated mute button with related LED indicator; the CVB/BC boundary microphone is available in cardioid or omnidirectional polar patterns and black and white colour options; and the CVO installed sound hanging microphone is a professional condenser designed for overhead applications – a wire aiming hanger is included to provide optimal placement.
