A distinguished list of industry figures and consultants will participate in AVNetworks 2010, which is being jointly presented by Installation Europe and sister title Pro Sound News Europe. Taking place on 15 September alongside PLASA 2010, the one-day conference – to be chaired by esteemed industry consultant Roland Hemming (pictured) – will throw light on the key issues of networking protocols and technologies.

Designed to appeal to a broad-section of the AV industry – installers, sound engineers, technical officers, rental companies, executives, consultants and more – AVNetworks will feature speakers including Audinate CTO Aidan Williams, Stardraw.com CEO Dave Snipp, Intellimedia business development director Matt Richards, and ASL Safety & Security’s chief systems architect, Vince Negri.

Peter Barrett from Electrosonic, Arup’s Sam Wise, Academy Music Group’s Ed Jackson and Church House Conference Centre AV manager Benjamin Pain will also bring varied perspectives to the event.

Topics to be addressed include end-users’ approaches towards investment in networked solutions, capabilities of manufacturers’ chosen standards, customer expectations of networking technologies, and integration with the IT and building services sectors.

“AVNetworks 2010 is an unmissable event,” said Paddy Baker, editor of Installation Europe. “Nowhere else can you find a programme that will address the subject from a wide variety of viewpoints. To find out more about the current state of the art, and the future direction of AV networking, book your place at AVNetworks 2010.”

Booking is available online at the event website (link below). A ticket to AVNetworks also provides free admission to the whole of PLASA 2010.
