Scott Willsallen, audio system designer

A member of the Audio Panel at ISE’s inaugural Dynamic Events Conference on Monday 30 January, Scott is a leading expert in audio design for major international and outdoor events. His design credits include the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Ceremonies, Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games Ceremonies, 2006 Doha Asian Games Ceremonies, 2008 World Youth Day, Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Ceremonies, 2003 and 2011 Rugby World Cup Ceremonies, 2011 Arab Games Ceremonies and the 2005 and 2010 Australian tours of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Scott is trained in music, engineering and physics, holding a Masters Degree with Honours in Audio Design and Acoustics. His unique skill set and vast experience place him as a world leader as an Audio Designer and Director. Scott was presented with the inaugural Australian Event Award for technical achievement for his design work on 2008 World Youth Day which included a 300,000-capacity venue and a 150,000-capacity venue – both of which required the delivery of highly intelligible speech and full bandwidth music. Scott is currently working on many event and fixed installation projects throughout the world for a variety of venues including stadia, theatres and educational facilities. Click here to view the Dynamic Events 2012 programme and to pre-register for the Conference online.
