The CrossOver Series line of single MLE production switchers is being demonstrated on the ISE stand of Ross Video. CrossOver is designed for compact studios, outside broadcast vehicles, edit suites and flight packs. The CrossOver Series includes CrossOver Solo, 12, and 16. All switchers include internal up/down conversion, animation stores, UltraChrome Chroma keying, internal reference generators, 2D DVEs, and AI Memory recalls. The CrossOver Solo is a 12 input, single piece unit, while the 12 and 16 models are two piece systems with a standalone 2RU chassis. The CrossOver 16 panel adds Macros, mnemonic indicators, and more. CrossOver Studio and Crossover Studio Elite are complete production suites which the company says combine the flexibility of ‘all-in-one’ production systems with Ross dedicated system components. Studio packages integrate the XPression graphics system and SoftMetal servers to provide what Ross describes as uncompromised production power, with the user needing to just add cameras and displays.
