Robert Juliat appoints Russian distributor

Sofit Light has been appointed as Robert Juliat distributor for Russia. The deal sees the Russian company representing the complete range of Robert Juliat products.

Robert Juliat’s international representation continues to grow with the appointment of Sofit Light of Moscow as its latest distributor for Russia.

Sofit Light will distribute the full Robert Juliat portfolio of profile fixtures, including the award-winning Aledin LED profile, theatre spotlights, DMX tools and its world-famous range of followspots.

“Robert Juliat is known in Russia first of all as the manufacturer of high quality followspots,” said general director Arakadiy Shakhidzhanov. “However, this is just a small share of the company’s production. Robert Juliat produces a full line of lighting luminaires intended for theatre, television studio and concert platforms which we are looking forward to promoting in Russia.”

“Followspots are the company’s most famous product, and any world sports event – the Olympic Games, the championships, any show premiere of global scale – cannot do without Robert Juliat followspots, “ he continued. “The powerful narrow beam copes with the long throw distances and is regulated perfectly; the balance is magnificent and the ergonomics of the device, faultless.”

“The company gives particular attention to transportation and packing of followspots so months of touring do not affect the working capacity and performance of the units,” concluded Shakhidzhanov. “Robert Juliat constantly monitors and carefully analyses customer needs, allowing them to solve new tasks flexibly, and to develop new long-term plans. The Robert Juliat name is a quality guarantee and it is simply cool!”

“We are very pleased to welcome Sofit Light to the Robert Juliat family,” said Robert Juliat managing director, Francois Juliat. “We are keen to develop our presence in Russia where demand for our lighting products has been growing rapidly. Sofit Light will service this demand and be on hand to look after our customers directly, which is a very important part of Robert Juliat’s ethos. We chose Sofit Light because of their excellent knowledge of, and approach to, the Russian market and are looking forward to working with them.”

Sofit Light, will be showing Robert Juliat products at Music Moscow (15-18 September 2011, Sokolniki Cultural & Exhibition Centre, Moscow).

The Sofit Light sales and technical team, led by general director Arakadiy Shakhidzhanov, are pictured having attended several days of product training at the Robert Juliat headquarters near Paris.
