RGB Communications has been appointed as the UK and Ireland commercial AV distributor of ClearOne View IP-based distributed audio, video and control solutions. View is the commercial derivative of NetStreams, which was acquired by ClearOne in 2009 and is now widely deployed in applications ranging from casinos to government facilities.
View IP-based and IP-controlled systems (including the VIEW MLA9101 audio gateway, pictured) are designed for commercial use, can handle virtually any number of digital or analogue sources and deliver uncompressed content, including high-definition audio and video, to a nearly unlimited number of zones. Any zones playing the same source will, it is said, be perfectly synchronised to less than 1 millisecond. Moreover, unlike conventional analogue matrix switch solutions, ClearOne’s DigiLinX system is scalable to infinite zones and virtually unlimited sources.
