We're pleased to announce that Renkus-Heinz has added its name to the line-up of sponsors for the inaugural InstallAwards. The California-based audio manufacturer is sponsoring the 15 Years of Achievement Award. One of two special accolades given to mark this publication's 15th anniversary, the award is to be presented to Robert Simpson, founder director of Electrosonic and leading light of the industry.
Renkus-Heinz joins fellow sponsors Barco, Casio, Shure and Vicoustic.
"It's great to see Bob Simpson being honoured. It's really good to see a company that was one of the trailblazers of the AV industry go from strength to strength and grow its business around the world," commented Margie Ulm, marketing manager at Renkus-Heinz. "And the fact that Electrosonic is marking 50 years in an industry where there has been a lot of buying and selling of companies going on is something worth celebrating in its own right. Bob also does a lot to share his expertise with the wider industry through his writing and seminar appearances, and that's something we applaud.
"We are very happy to be part of the InstallAwards – the fact that the project awards are voted for by a panel of industry experts shows that they really do have meaning behind them," she added.
The InstallAwards take place tomorrow night (Thursday 12 June) at the Hilton London Wembley. There are a few tickets still available.
Next week, Renkus-Heinz will be exhibiting once again at InfoComm, with a first showing of the Iconyx Gen 5 – the fifth generation of its digitally steered loudspeakers – and demos of the VARIA-I installation series, IC2 and RH Series of speakers. It's also one the first show exhibitors whose products will be encountered by visitors to InfoComm: Renkus-Heinz Iconyx IC16-R arrays have recently been installed right across McCarran Airport's baggage claim area.
