Meanwhile, the Russian-language Extron product catalogue contains 472 pages of information on the company’s latest products.
Equipment covered in the huge tome includes interfacing, switching, distribution, signal processing, fibre optic, cabling, audio and Ethernet control devices.
According to Rainer Stiehl, Extron’s vice president of marketing, EMEA, the new catalogue and website illustrate the company’s belief in the Russian market. “We welcome the opportunity to provide our latest products and services to customers throughout the Russian Federation,” he commented. “Our new Russian catalogue and website demonstrate our commitment to expanding our service and support for customers throughout this vital region as the AV industry there continues to grow.”
The announcements further reinforce the impression that Extron has considerable expectations of this region. Speaking to Installation Europe recently for a country focus on Russia, Jerome Gueras, vice president of sales EMEA, commented: “Russia is one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe and will become one of the largest in the next five years. System integrators face many of the same challenges and design requirements as other countries throughout Europe, [and] as designs become more sophisticated, so will the demand for cutting-edge, turn-key solutions.”
