David Kweksilber Big Band, Bimhuis; 20.30, €20 The big band performs new pieces by various contemporary composers and some improvisations. It’s all happening in Amsterdam’s foremost jazz venue, the Bimhuis, which shares a spectacular glass-fronted building situated right by the waters of the IJ with the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, the city’s ‘concert hall of the 21st century’. Sneak Preview, Kriterion; 22.15, €5 Catch a sneak preview of a surprise film in Kriterion.
