In recognition of the growing demand for highly specified school and college theatres, this year’s show will provide an opportunity for architects, consultants and designers to find out about the latest technological innovations suitable for use in drama studios or multipurpose performance spaces. Working at Height regulations and other HSE-related issues will also be under the spotlight.
Show director Roger Fox told II: “We are delighted with the response we are getting, and bookings are holding up exceedingly well in the climate, [so] we are looking forward to another sold-out event. We will be announcing more details very shortly.”
Fox added that interest from new exhibitors is proving to be “considerable. That is really pleasing because we were quite concerned that things might not be as buoyant, but it looks as though we were wrong.”
In other news, the ABTT has recently redesigned its website to allow for more regular updates and easier navigation.
