“We opened the Dubai office in order to provide an improved service for the Gulf region,” explains MD Zahid Elian. “Drawing on our
experience in other parts of the Middle East, we aim to provide the best service and technical support, as well as the finest products.”
The company is multi-disciplinary, providing both lighting and sound
equipment; it is regional distributor for Coemar, and represents such well known brands as Griven, Whirlwind Cables, Prolyte, Robert Juliat, DPA and Audix.
Most recently TES added d&b audiotechnik to its range, choosing d&b as its leading pro audio loudspeaker system. “We will have a dedicated space at PALME specifically for the d&b range of products”, says Elian. “We have already sent one of our sound engineers, Chadi Al-Massri to Germany for two weeks intensive product training, focussing specifically on the Q and J-Series systems, as well as receiving familiarisation and application training on all their other products.”
Since opening last year, the Dubai office has expanded to more than a dozen employees, not least of whom is Al-Massri, a specialist in electroacoustic design and installation; and Julien ‘B’ a leading sound engineer for live concerts. Both men have established reputations in the region. “We have already expanded operations, moving to a much larger warehouse within this year,” concludes Elian. “With d&b audiotechnik’s excellent product range I can only see that process of expansion continuing.”
