PSCo Technical Distribution elevates Nico Kamffer

Having only joined PSCo five months ago from AVM as product business manager, Kamffer's success has seen him promoted to client services director.

PSCo Technical Distribution has appointed Nico Kamffer to the position of client services director. Key responsibilities include driving efficiencies throughout the business and working with channel partners to enhance the overall customer experience.

The company said that the promotion recognises the positive impact Kamffer has made since he joined PSCo Technical Distribution five months ago in the role of product business manager. In his new position, he will focus on building awareness of the PSCo portfolio, helping channel partners – including resellers, consultants and integrators – to leverage services that complement and extend their existing skill set. With full accountability of budget planning, strategic development and project leadership, Kamffer will ensure a high standard of knowledge and thought leadership is applied in ways that deliver on client business goals and expectations. His assistance will also be required in the recruitment of key personnel, support for sales and marketing, and team mentoring.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance the PSCo offering by adding value for our vendors, customers, colleagues and stakeholders, and created this job with that in mind,” said Paul O’Reilly, managing director of PSCo Technical Distribution. “Since joining PSCo, Nico has made a great contribution, heading up projects including the implementation of a new quotation system, product calendar and completion of phase one of the new Assessment Centre in Reading. He has extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the industry, which will help us to better advise channel partners on the technology most suited to their customers’ requirements. He is also perfectly placed to position PSCo’s service as a new style of distribution in the minds of a wider customer audience, maximising opportunities through his extended external network.”

“I am delighted to be part of such an exciting and forward thinking company, with the opportunity to offer the best-in-class products and services to the industry,” said Kamffer (pictured). “Working closely with our channel partners, I’m looking forward to ensuring that we consistently excel in exceeding our customers’ expectations, nurturing their needs and delivering extraordinary results.”

Before joining PSCo, Kamffer worked as a project manager at AVM, and prior to that he worked in the technology sector for VMC, project managing numerous AV integration accounts.
