Approximately 2,000 PL+S visitors competed for the stretch-bike, which is reported to have the longest-single-seater frame in the world, with 587 answering the questions on the technical details of the new D-LITE 1000 system correctly. Weinfurtner’s card was drawn from the pile of correct entries by Tatjana Kostin of EVI Audio’s export division.
Considering the latest additions to the D-LITE product series, a Bosch Communications Systems spokesperson told II: “The D8 full-range two-way box weighs less than 9kg but offers up to 10dB more peak than other products in its class. [Also available is] the SUB112 12in subwoofer, which at only 20kg and with peak power handling of 1,600W, provides an impressive bass foundation right down to 43Hz and is easily operated parallel to a full-range box.
“Many and various safety circuits guarantee optimum operating security. With these characteristics, the D-LITE 1000 system is also an extremely attractive solution for many fixed installation applications.”
