projectiondesign reinforces position in Asia

projectiondesign has added two new members to its team with a brief to grow and support the company's business in Asia.

projectiondesign has made two senior appointments with the addition of Frank Chen (pictured) as business development manager for Taiwan and Kok Seng Tan as field applications engineer. The new team members will report directly to Philip Hay, regional manager for Greater China and ASEAN. During InfoComm Asia 2010 (17-19 November 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center, Hong Kong) they will be present to meet with projectiondesign customers, partners and visitors to the booth during the show.

“We’ve enjoyed great success over the past few years in this region and the move perfectly complements the new innovation, technology and products our company is unleashing into the market,” said Chris Axford, director of sales and marketing at projectiondesign. “All new team members are an ideal fit for us and they can hit the ground running, working with our partners to take advantage of this economically important business area of the world.”

In place to grow and develop the Taiwanese market, Frank Chen brings 10 years of experience in sales and channel development. He has worked in previous distribution and channel management roles, responsible for the projectiondesign portfolio.

Kok Seng Tan brings extensive experience to his new role at projectiondesign as field applications engineer, having spent close to 10 years providing technical support in the projector industry.
