Prism Sound plans seminar tour

Biamp President Ralph Lockhart said: “The long-term benefits of energy efficiency and environmental protection have motivated our decision. This move also signals our continued achievement in reaching compliance with environmental standards worldwide, while maintaining the highest quality of products and without increasing prices.”

Biamp products that have earned the Energy Star qualification include the CPA130 Commercial Power amp, the IWA250 In-Wall Powered Mixers and the MCA Series Multi-Channel amplifiers. The firm’s Environmental and Regulatory Compliance Committee oversaw the process and now intends to foster open communication with employees, customers and the community about environmental issues that will be instrumental in Biamp’s continuing growth and success.’

Energy Star was introduced by the US Environmental Protection Agency in 1992 as a voluntary, market-based partnership to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency. Today, the Energy Star label can be found on more than 50 different kinds of products, new homes, and commercial and industrial buildings.
