PLASA Focus nearly sold out

With 120 companies confirmed to exhibit, there are only a “handful of stands” now remaining for the next edition of PLASA Focus: Leeds, which will take place on 19-20 April 2011.

With 120 companies confirmed to exhibit, there are only a “handful of stands” remaining for the 2011 edition of PLASA Focus: Leeds.

Designed to provide a regional showcase for the latest in professional entertainment technologies, PLASA Focus: Leeds will take place at the city’s Royal Armouries on 19/20 April.

Ampetronic, CUK Audio, Highlight International BV, Leisuretec Distribution, Logic System, Metool Reeling and Pro Light Concepts Ltd will all exhibit for the first time at the 2011 event.

There will also be several new features, including an expanded, free, two-day education and learning programme, and new opportunities for live product demonstrations.

The positive news about the next PLASA Focus: Leeds follows a record-breaking 2010 event that saw attendance reach 1,800 – an increase of 30% on the previous year.

Show director Nicola Rowland said: “This is a hugely popular event and that’s essentially down to the unique PLASA Focus ethos, which is to offer exhibitors a straight choice between shell scheme and truss, keeping the event affordable and hassle-free for exhibitors. It also means that visitors have the opportunity to meet more companies and to see the first UK showing of products launched at Prolight + Sound.

“The social and networking side is a great opportunity for everybody; the mid-show party brings audio, video and lighting people together in the North in a way that hasn’t happened before.”
