The award for outstanding business growth was presented during projectiondesign’s annual dealer event at ISE 2009. Charmex’s Lluis Cabezas is pictured receiving the honour from projectiondesign CEO J_rn Eriksen.

As alluded to by Tresserras, Charmex International recently supplied a host of projectiondesign video projectors for use at Expo Zaragoza 2008. Structured around the theme of ‘water and sustainable development’, the environmentally-themed spectacular made use of projectiondesign equipment in areas such as the Water Tower (28 F30 sx+ DLP projectors), the Bridge Pavilion (23 F30 sx+ projectors) and the Argelia National Pavilion (F30 sx+, F20 sx+ and F10 sx+ projectors). While the Expo has now closed its doors, both the Water Tower and the Bridge Pavilion have been retained as permanent structures.
Sainz commented: “Our projectors were in use almost around the clock for the entire duration of the festival and were seen by millions of visitors from all over the world – a tribute to their ruggedness as well as the brilliance of their light output and the richness of their colour.”
