The Pixel Peloton, a group of 38 AV industry cyclists lead by AV consultant Don Sperring, has completed a 60km/100km route around Kent to raise money for the Bromley Mencap charity.
A total of £2,500 was raised between donations, rider’s participation fee and a raffle that Bromley Mencap organised on the day.
The ride started outside Beckenham Cricket club in Kent, with wet weather and a number of ascents and descents creating a tough challenge for all those participating and resulted in a few minor falls for a few riders.
Despite the wet weather, people came from as far as Belgium and all around the UK to take part. The companies participating included: Daktronics, Barco, NEC Displays, Samsung, Peerless, Vivid Digital Retail, and Future Source, as well as a number of individual riders.
