The power management giants have announced that they are combining with lighting control specialist – and fellow Home Technology Group of Linear subsidiary – LiteTouch.
While Panamax delivers power management, monitoring and control solutions for custom electronics integrators, the Furman brand focuses on power management solutions for musicians, audio professionals and commercial AV integrators. LiteTouch, meanwhile, has a 30-year track record in residential CI and produces a range of lighting control systems suitable for new construction and retrofit applications.
The three brands – which place an increasing emphasis on energy efficiency and energy management solutions – will now move forward as a united entity under the leadership of Panamax/Furman president Bill Pollock (pictured).
“The combined operations of LiteTouch and Panamax/Furman will provide installers and integrators with a full range of high-voltage custom residential and commercial installation products,” said Pollock. “Additionally, both companies’ focus on innovation in energy management and green technologies, such as BlueBOLT and LiteTouch Remote Access, provides a tremendous opportunity for alignment and symmetry in delivering next-generation energy management solutions for our customers and their clients.”
