The purchase of PCB supplier Dioflex, which is based in Roznov near to Robe’s factory in Valasske Mezirici, brings 30 skilled employees, approximately 2,000sqm of premises and the latest automated machining processes into the Robe operaton. As a result, says Robe, the “flexibility factor” in its production schedule will be enhanced.
Dioflex will produce all the PCBs for Robe lighting and its sister company, LED manufacturer Anolis, whose production lines moved to the ground floor of the same premises a year ago.
In addition, Robe has also invested _3.5 million in building a new Logistics Centre and doubling its warehouse space to nearly 4,000sqm. The latest factory expansion incorporates a 1,000sqm purpose-built Plastics Moulding Centre.
