Returning to the Amsterdam RAI, ISE 2008 held on 29-31 January 2008 will be an exciting event offering great opportunities for suppliers of our industry. Before the 2007 show closed on the third day nearly 50% of exhibitors had already formally booked their space for 2008. However, in the last two months, backed by an unprecedented demand for space, sales for ISE 2008 have accelerated to an all-time high.
Companies exhibiting come from across the whole industry, including organisations from Sound, Projectors, Computer/IT/Networking, Digital signage, Display technologies, Home and Electronic cinema. Companies that have already confirmed their booth space for ISE 2008 include Canon, Eyevis, Da Lite, Samsung and COMM-TEC. ISE attracted also some new major companies like Harman Consumer Group, Tannoy and Naim Audio. Now in its 5th year, this annual event is the largest single gathering of leading buyers, distributors, systems integrators and dealers in the AV and Electronic Systems Integration industry.
“We expect 2008 exhibitor numbers to easily surpass those of the 2007 Show. I anticipate the remaining space will sell out very soon, and indeed we may have to start a waiting list. Strong booth space sales guarantee an exciting show with a diverse range of companies from across the globe already committed.” says Managing Director Mike Blackman (pictured). ISE continues to attract new exhibitors. More than 150 companies exhibited for the first time at ISE 2007 and we expect a lot more at next year’s show. These record levels mean that there is a real prospect of Halls 1 – 6 being full to capacity at the Amsterdam RAI.
Past exhibitors were enthusiastic about ISE 2007 and are eagerly anticipating the show’s return. “ISE has really grown substantially; it seems to grow every year by at least one exhibition hall and has become a true international event. At ISE 2007, we were extremely busy and the whole team is excited about the level of business generated. ISE is a fabulous show!” says Steve Durkee of Chief Manufacturing.
There will also be more regional pavilions, displays, attractions and educational sessions at ISE 2008 than any previous show, like the China Pavilion and the Taiwan Pavilion. Blackman sees ISE as the only major European platform for showcasing products:
“It is especially pleasing to see many of the companies that have supported ISE in previous years taking larger exhibition space in Amsterdam. However we extend an equally warm welcome to the first-time exhibitors and I urge any company that wishes to take booth space at this show to act now.”
