Niko UK expands training programme

An increase in demand has prompted an expansion of the company’s schedule of one-day courses for 2011. In total, around 500 training places are likely to be available next year.

An increase in demand has prompted an expansion of the company’s schedule of one-day courses for 2011.

The Niko training schedule provides free one-day courses to electricians and installers on how to install and programme the Nikobus home automation and lighting control systems.

IE Residential has been told that Niko UK anticipates running a minimum of four sessions per month, with a maximum of six people per one-day course. In total, there are likely to be 500 training places available in 2011.

The training sessions are delivered at the company’s purpose-built training suite in Toddington, Bedfordshire, near Junction 12 of the M1.

Anyone interested in booking a place on a Niko training course should telephone 01525 877707 or email [email protected]

Niko UK’s sales director, Stephen Calder, commented: “We recently established a joint training programme with the NICEIC, and this has seen a substantial uplift in demand for places on the courses. As ever, we like to respond positively to the demands of the market, so we are in the process of revising our training programme for 2011 to accommodate as many installers and electricians as possible.”
