Nexxus Lighting closes acquisition of Lumificient Corporation

The attraction (artist’s impression pictured) will be based around a series of scenes that enable visitors to “participate with all their senses”. Original artefacts drawn from the band’s ten-year period as an active unit will also play an important role in the new complex.

“ABBA the Museum will be a technology-intensive attraction, centred on the visitors’ experience,” said Ulf Westman, founder of ABBA the Museum. “This makes a collaboration with Sony the ultimate solution for the project. The corporation’s products are of the highest quality and are innovative, and their range of products has the width that we demand. Furthermore, they are highly experienced in delivering complex technology solutions.”

Adam Fry, director of Sony PSE Nordic, told II: “In conjunction with the ABBA museum, Sony Professional Solutions is creating a truly unique visitor experience. Using Sony’s innovative technology solutions we are able to create an interactive and euphoric environment for the fans visiting the museum that will bring visitors back time and time again.”
