Midwich – already the exclusive distributor of InFocus commercial projectors – has taken on the responsibility. The announcement follows the conclusion of a seven-year relationship between InFocus and previous distributor CSE.
“We’ve enjoyed great success with InFocus, but we’re shifting our strategic focus to the luxury custom installation market, whose challenges are somewhat different,” remarked CSE’s Ian Severs.
Midwich has appointed a dedicated InFocus projector specialist to support the “significant investment” the distributor has made in its CEDIA and independent retail teams over the past 12 months. These teams now possess more than 10 dedicated account managers.
Stuart Mizon, business manager at Midwich, told IE Residential: “We are absolutely delighted to be appointed as the exclusive UK distributor of InFocus ScreenPlay projectors. We have a dedicated team to address the CEDIA and independent retail channels, and InFocus is offering a free SP8602 demonstration unit when accredited dealers buy two units. We are expecting big things from this brand.”
