“We are fully satisfied with this 2008 edition of SIB, for which there were some initial doubts and fears regarding trade members’ attendance, due to the sector’s current division,” said Rimini Fiera general manager Piero Venturelli. “The comprehensive nature of the industry sectors exhibiting and the good international profile of the product on show at SIB 2008 were particularly appreciated.”

Echoing Venturelli’s point about the strong performance of the April event, Renato Giacchetto from event sponsor SILB Italian Association of Dancing & Show Entertainment Enterprises, added: “For us, this year’s edition is just a starting point, and for the future we aim at exponential growth. This is why we intend organising a single expo event in Italy, setting up important agreements in the trade at international level.”

The next SIB event will be the SIB Forum, to be held this October. II was informed at time of going to virtual press that the exact dates have yet to be confirmed.
