At ISE 2011, RTI will showcase a number of solutions that the company says provide the ultimate control experience for consumers. Highlights at the show will include the company’s new T3-V+ and T2-C+ universal controllers, the XP-6 and XP-3 central control processors, an assortment of audio distribution products, and Apple integration with the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad via the new RTiPanel app.
The next generation of RTI wireless remote controls are said to feature a revolutionary dual RF board technology that gives custom installers unprecedented flexibility for reliable control in any situation. The new T3-V+ and T2-C+ controllers support both 433-MHz RF for one-way control and 2.4-GHz ZigBee for bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics like music servers, lighting, and even Web-based RSS feeds. While both remote controls continue to provide direct infrared control, the T3-V+ offers enhanced 802.11b/g wireless Ethernet support for browsing the Web or viewing IP-addressable devices such as security cameras.
At ISE 2011, RTI will debut its RTiDock (pictured) featuring rackmount or desktop options and a host of benefits not found, according to the company, on other iPod docks, such as the ability to sync with iTunes over the network through Virtual Sync technology. The device offers a full on-screen GUI and video output for navigation through a video display device. A sliding tray provides easy access and discreet storage of the iPod for added convenience and a clean design.
