Based in the Netherlands, he will focus on increasing “sales-driven activities” for Barix worldwide.
Van der Meijs will also call on his experience of OEM initiatives to increase brand recognition of Barix Audio over IP technology, and develop new applications for existing Barix products.
Van der Meijs told II: “As Barix is a data transportation business, it’s the objective for [us] to leverage the existing network (internet) infrastructure for additional functionality. This can be data, like I/O, audio, voice etc. With our existing products we offer a wide spread of solutions for I/O, audio and voice over networks. My personal objective is to offer as much network functionality as possible.”
