New members join CEDIA Board of Directors

Following elections held at its recent AGM, CEDIA Region 1 has announced the appointment of new members of its Board of Directors. New to the board are three Electronic Systems Professional representatives and one Trade Supplier member.

Following elections held at its recent AGM, CEDIA Region 1 has announced the appointment of new members of its Board of Directors.

New to the board as ESP (Electronic Systems Professional) representatives are Elliot Hicks from Complete Home Contro (pictured above)l; Krystian Zajac from It’s Done Technology and Kris Hogg from Konnectiv. Hamish Neale from Control 4 has been elected as a Trade Supplier member.

The new board will support the existing CEDIA Chair, Gary Lewis, to provide vital strategic direction for the custom installation industry throughout the region, which covers the UK, mainland Europe, Russia, Middle East, India, Pakistan and Africa.

“I am looking forward to working with Elliot, Krystian, Kris, Hamish and the rest of the CEDIA Board to build on the sterling work of their predecessors and ensure that we, as the industry association, continue to serve the interest of our members and reach out to design professionals and consumers across the region,” said Lewis.

Elliot Hicks is owner and company director at Complete Home Control. Based in Surrey, the company combines over forty years of experience in the specialist sectors of home automation, home technology and building services, including numerous prestigious projects in the central London boroughs of Belgravia, Kensington and Mayfair.

Krystian Zajac is managing director of London-based It’s Done Technology, which specialises in automation and systems integration in the residential and marine market. Krystian brings extensive managerial experience to the CEDIA Board, as well as a background in IT infrastructure and programming.

Kris Hogg, managing director at Yorkshire-based Konnectiv Ltd, is the third new member of the CEDIA Board. Voted Integrator of the Year 2011 and 2012, the company designs, installs and programs control and entertainment technology for home or business.

Finally, Hamish Neale, territory sales manager – EMEA at Control 4, replaces Wim De Vos, from Genesis Technologies, as Trade Supplier member.

– Krystian Zajac, UK (It’s Done! Technology).

“On behalf of CEDIA, I would like to thank David Graham of Grahams Hi-fi, Robert Hallam of InControl and Robin Shepherd of Cornflake who now step down for their invaluable support during their tenure as CEDIA Board Directors,” said Lewis. “I’d also like to praise Wim De Vos of Genesis Technologies, the Trade Supplier member who is leaving the Board, for his role in helping to grow CEDIA’s membership across Europe.”
