Music Group, the corporate parent of pro audio brand Behringer, has announced the immediate appointment of Indiana-based Starin as its exclusive distributor for all 50 US States and protectorates.
Starin had previously represented Behringer in selected territories while the rest of the country was served by Shoreview Distribution. The appointment is effective immediately and the company reports that Starin has sufficient quantities of product on hand to fill all orders across the country.
Vice president of Global Sales for Music Group, David O’Kelly, who announced the news, commented: “Starin has proven to be an exceptional partner, delivering service levels that are earning praise from our dealers across America. I want to thank Shoreview for its loyal support but it became clear to us that a single source for Behringer products was in the best interest of our dealers and in turn our end users.”
Starin already distributes Music Group brands Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound across the US on an exclusive basis. Founder and principal Jim Starin exclaimed: “This is amazing news and I am proud that Music Group has placed so much faith in our organisation. We have a greatly expanded stock of goods that will vastly improve availability as well as national Freight and MAP programs that will greatly enhance profitability for our dealers.”
