Multiple Pro Sound Award nominations for L-Acoustics, Sennheiser and DiGiCo

The winners – chosen by an independent panel of judges –will be announced at the first Pro Sound Awards event, to be held at the Ministry of Sound in London on Thursday 19 September.

French loudspeaker manufacturer L-Acoustics, Sennheiser and console developer DiGiCo are amongst the nominess for the Installation category for the Pro Sound Award.

The winners – chosen by an independent panel of judges –will be announced at the first Pro Sound Awards event, to be held at the Ministry of Sound in London on Thursday 19 September.

L-Acoustics has been nominated three times: one for its work with the Hollywood Bowl in the USA (Permanent Installation Award) and the Olivier Theatre in London (Temporary Installation), and also in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category.

DiGiCo makes it a double, appearing on the shortlists for After-sales Support and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Sennheiser, meanwhile, scored a hat-trick of nominations: for Eurovision (Broadcast Event of the Year) and the David Bowie Is… exhibition at the V&A (Temporary Installation), plus an individual nomination for the company’s Mark Saunders in the After-sales Support slot.

Ed Ferguson of the National Theatre can claim to be associated with two nominations also: the L-Acoustics refit of the Olivier, and playing a major part in the NTLive broadcasts undertaken by Conrad Fletcher and the Mixbus group (nominated for Broadcast Team of the Year).
