Mitsubishi targets business and high-end segments with new projectors

The new WUXGA UD740 has features suited to the business and education sectors, while the company’s latest WXGA WD8700-U has been designed for professional applications thanks to features such as 7500-lumen output.

Mitsubishi Electric Europe is unveiling the latest additions to its mid-range business projectors and its high-end installation projector range: the new WUXGA UD740U for business or education and the new WXGA WD8700-U for professional applications.

The UD740U joins the 1080p FD730U model as a portable, network-capable projector delivering 4100 lumens for business or education applications. The 1920×1200 pixel UD740U offers a 3000:1 contrast ratio, up to 5000 hours of lamp life. and new features for corporate meeting room or higher education applications.

It is fully compatible with AMX Device Discovery and Crestron Roomview. This allows it to be monitored, managed and controlled across the network or from web-enabled Apple iPhone, iPad or Android devices via Crestron’s Fusion RV software.

The WXGA WD8700-U, meanwhile, updates the 8000 Series range of professional installation projectors, replacing the existing WD8200 model and offering a 14% increase in light output up to 7500 lumens.
