UK home technology distributor MidwichHome has revealed details of a complementary product development between two of its biggest brands – Niles and ELAN.
As the result of a new brand strategy, the Niles IntelliControl ICS platform now interfaces with the ELAN g! control system – allowing Niles ICS dealers and customers to experience the benefits of whole home automation controlled by an iPad and iPhone.
Niles ICS installers will now be able to offer both installed and new ICS customers an ‘affordable’ bridge to the home control of television, lighting, climate and other functions via the ELAN g! system, along with the possibility of incorporating shallow-depth Niles loudspeakers into any installation.
“We’re very pleased to be in a position to offer this cross-brand initiative,” said Marc Waple, regional sales manager for MidwichHome, which can exclusive distribution rights for both Niles and ELAN in the UK. “It’s only possible because both Niles and ELAN are part of the MidwichHome stable, and installers will see huge benefits as a result of the strategy, with Niles ICS and ELAN g! offering seamless integration and the possibility of further integration via Niles loudspeakers.”
