Midwich signs visualiser deal with AVer

The distributor will also have access to the AVer HVC series of videoconferencing solutions.

UK distributor Midwich has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with Aver Information that it said will strengthen both companies’ commitment to the visualiser and video conferencing market.

“We are delighted to be launching with the market-leading brand,” said Stuart Mizon, Business Manager at Midwich. “We believe that our pro-active market making strategy will help create demand for the AVerVision products and significantly grow their UK market share.”

The product range offers seven digital presentation solutions that are said to be easy-to-use and provide superior image quality and include features such as one-touch recording, on-board annotation and standalone wireless operation.

“At Aver, we believe we offer the end-user the best Visualisers available on the market today in terms of benefits, price, availability and ease of use” said Nigel Roberts, Marketing Manager at AVer. “Our product range is suitable for all levels of education and our new wireless model really raises the bar in terms of flexibility of use in schools. We are looking forward to working closely with Midwich and developing a very positive relationship together.”

“With the top two brands now under the Midwich umbrella, our goal is to become the distributor of choice for visualisers,” said Darren Lewitt AV Director of the Midwich Group. “As the technology evolves, it seems sensible to offer our resellers the choice with a multiple vendor strategy. This strategy has worked well with other AV technologies and the key is to remain focused and specialist.”

The deal with AVer also provides access for Midwich’s VC division to sell the AVer HVC series of video conferencing solutions. The ‘all-in-one’ video conferencing solution features one-touch recording to a USB flash drive, five-megapixel snapshot sharing and a daisy chain of up to four microphones for larger conference rooms. The HVC series also supports AVer’s lineup of software add-ons, such as ScreenShare for wirelessly sharing content from a PC and VCLink for sharing live images and snapshots from a mobile device.
