The Hampshire, UK-based specialist AV distributor within the Computer 2000 group has added another brand to its selection. As the result of a move set to extend choice for AV/IT professionals and resellers, Maverick will offer the Vueinti range, which includes dual-sided and rear-projection screens (among them the sunlight-readable screen Ultra XC, pictured), holographic screens, interactive touchscreens and rear-projection foils.
Commenting on the new agreement, Mark Tildesley, general manager of Maverick, said: “The Vueinti solutions provide AV installers and resellers with new options and an opportunity to boost their sales. This is groundbreaking technology and there is nothing else like it on the market. It gives resellers something new and very different to put in front of their customers. We see plenty of good opportunities with Vueinti screens for AV resellers. Rear-projection foils are becoming much more popular [with] many applications, and in particular for interactive use in education and where touch sensitivity is required. Vueinti’s screens are also used widely in retail and office environments to provide flexible digital signage, advertising or public display options.”
The addition of Vueinti to the Maverick portfolio takes place at a time when the distributor is experiencing rapid expansion and is making “significant investments” to support sales growth.
