Former Imerge and Sonos employee Martin Twiss (pictured) has arrived at prominent UK CI distributor AWE Europe to serve as area sales manager for the Midlands and Northern territories.
Twiss joins AWE with a wealth of custom install industry experience, having worked for Imerge and, in more recent years, as CI channel development manager for Sonos.
“I have known the team at AWE for a number of years and it is a real privilege to become a part of it,” said Twiss. “It is a very exciting time for the UK custom install market as a whole and AWE has a great portfolio of products and a reputation for outstanding customer service.”
The arrival of Twiss follows a number of other recent personnel developments: Nick Mott joined the sales desk over the summer, while existing staff member Christina Tickle now also heads up the newly fitted-out trade counter at the Epsom HQ. In addition, Billy Pendolf has recently joined AWE’s warehouse team.
“Despite having a key product line withdrawn from the market at the end of last year, I am delighted to say that we have just smashed our targeted sales results with significant growth coming from URC, Samsung, Panasonic and Dynalite, among others,” said AWE managing director Stuart Tickle. “I would like to thank our customer base and staff for their loyalty and commitment to AWE and am excited at the even greater potential within the existing and new product lines we bring to the market.”
