Martin to showcase new products at ISE

ISE 2012 is providing Martin Professional with the opportunity to highlight a number of recently-announced products.

Martin Professional is taking the opportunity provided by ISE to showcase a raft of its new products including the new 10 mm pixel pitch LED display panel, the EC-10, along with additions to the P3 System Controller family for LED screens, the P3-200 and the PC-based P3-PC. Other products on display include the Maxedia media server, as well as the latest in Martin’s line of LED moving heads.

Martin is also a Platinum Sponsor of the inaugural Dynamic Events conference that will take place on the eve of the ISE show. The Dynamic Events conference is dedicated to the use of lighting, sound, video and staging technologies in large-scale entertainment and sporting environments and will take place at the Amsterdam RAI exhibition center on Monday 30 January.

The EC-10 (pictured) is described as a high performance, true 10 mm pixel pitch LED display panel that teams with Martin’s EC-20 to form a compatible EC family of LED displays that can be mixed and matched for design creativity. Featuring the same lightweight and cable-free design for rapid deployment, the EC-10 is said to be 100% compatible with the EC-20 in terms of colour, setup, curving, control and processing – even accessories.

The P3-200 System Controller combines all the features of the P3-100 and adds SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI input capability for optimised use in TV/broadcast environments. It retains the built-in scaling and de-interlacing, multiple video protocol and resolution support, direct DMX control of brightness, colour and pixel-mapping of the P3-100 System Controller.

According to Martin, the P3-PC is much-requested product, working as a PC-based P3 System Controller for smaller Martin LED display setups up to 20,000 pixels; as an off-line editor for the P3-100 and P3-200 System Controllers to preprogram shows anywhere on a PC; or as a tool for firmware uploads and addressing/testing Martin LED displays.

Martin has recently made available version 2.1.0 software for its family of P3 System Controllers for LED screens. Compatible with the P3-100, P3-200 and P3-PC System Controllers, the free-of-charge software is said to include a number of new features and improvements.

Maxedia uses what Martin describes as an intuitive touchscreen-optimised user interface, and is a tool for media composing and playback, providing access to a library of media clips, still images and integrated animations without the need for a complex lighting controller.
