Marshall Electronics eyeing European expansion

Marshall Electronics showcased its products at ISE for the first time, including its new small format digital signs. “These have a broader application than the large digital signs that we see out in the commercial marketplace,” said Marshall’s Kevin Weiss. “They can be used from hospitals to corporate meeting rooms to hotels and even retailing, to show directions and to review advertising and generate revenue. They’re brand new in the industry, we expect a big demand.”

Other products on the MXL stand included a studio microphone, musical microphone and business microphone collection, along with a field recording series of microphones.

Weiss, who is international sales manager for MXL, Marshall Electronics’ pro-audio division, explained that the company is trying to expand the reach of its pro-audio products into new European regions.

“We already have distribution in about 12 countries in Europe and now we’re looking for additional distribution and additional representation for our products,” he said.
