Magenta announces Screenmedia plans

At Screenmedia expo, Magenta Research will be showing the MultiView DVI, the latest addition to the MultiView family, as well as the Voyager and HD-One Series.

AV signal distribution and switching company Magenta Research says that it will exhibit its MultiView family alongside its Voyager Fibre Optic Signal Distribution Platform and its HD-One Series products at Screenmedia expo 2011 (London: 18 – 19 May).

Magenta will demonstrate the latest addition to its MultiView family (pictured). MultiView DVI delivers 1,920 x 1,200 resolution single link DVI-D video 1,200 feet (366 metres) over standard UTP cable. MultiView DVI receivers are daisy-chainable and capable of outputting DVI or RGBHV video within the same switch environment, giving system integrators more flexibility than ever before, says the company.

Alongside MultiView DVI, Magenta will show its Voyager Series of interoperable transmitters, receivers, distribution amplifiers and matrix switchers. Voyager uses a modular building block approach to enable any end to end configuration for extension and switching of uncompressed multi-format video and audio, RS-232, IR and USB signals over fibre at distances up to 16.75MI/30KM.

Also on the stand will be Magenta’s HD-One Series. Designed for high-quality single-UTP HDMI video and embedded audio extension, HD-One DX delivers full 1080p uncompressed video to distances of 328 feet (100m). The product supports HDM 1.3, is fully HDCP compliant and will function with Cat5e/6/6e/7 cable types.

HD-One LX is an HDMI extension product that utilises a single Cat5e/6/6e/7 cable, and sends 1080p video 328ft/100m. HD-One LX is fully HDCP-compliant and capable of extending uncompressed 1080p video, audio, IR and bi-directional RS-232 to 328ft/100m, allowing commands and data to flow in both directions.
