macom targets AV-IT with new UK base

macom, the AV consulting and engineering company based in Germany, has opened a new office in the UK to expand its international market development, despite the presence of Brexit.

“Within Europe, the UK has one of the largest markets for professional media technology,” said Björn Jensen, CEO of macom. “Despite Brexit we see a considerable project potential there. Moreover, due to our portfolio combining non proprietary media technological specialist planning and the strategy consulting for collaboration solutions, future workspaces, digitalisation and interactive brand presentation we have an important and unique position in the UK market.”

At the core of the UK operation will be AV and IT technology and specialist project planning. The company will also look at future applications of AV and IT technology, such as collaboration solutions, new working environments and interactive brand representation.

The managing director of the office is media technology expert, Christian Bozeat (pictured). Bozeat has been working in the UK AV industry since 1999 and has worked for many prominent integrators. He is experienced in the planning of AV systems, videoconferencing solutions, collaboration systems, AV/IT infrastructure solutions. He specialises in the development and integration of strategies for AV and IT systems in buildings, companies and global networks.
