Stuttgart-based AV technology consultants, macom has entered into a strategic partnership with NIYU media projects, media and visualisation specialists for temporary installations.
The two companies are pooling resources within the macom group in favour of ‘reinforced market cultivation and an expanded service’; this will see NIYU remain autonomous, but change its company name to macomNIYU.
“NIYU’s know how is an enrichment for the competences of macom group,” said Björn Jensen, managing director of macom. “NIYU has an experience of the market of temporary installations so far not to be had within macom group. With this reinforcement, macom group now unites 65 highly experienced engineers with a unique expertise for the specialist planning of AV technology, acoustics and lighting for fixed installations and temporary projects. Thus, together we can serve our customers even better.”
“We have made the decision for this collaboration after careful consideration,” commented Niko Hocke, managing director of macomNIYU. “It was the obvious step towards the further development of our company, the future and the reinforcement of the brand. macom and NIYU not only have a similar know how, we have our corporate cultures and the quality standards of the planning and the project implementation in common as well. Together we can join our forces and our expertise to direct them in the same direction. Thus, the collaboration offers the capacities for a planned strategic growth and the extension of the service portfolio for our customers. Strictly speaking, the collaboration even is part of this growth.”
