LG makes a display of itself

One of the highlights on the giant LG stand in Hall 11 is the company’s brand new 72WS10 commercial panel (Van Gough detail pictured). As the name suggests, it’s a 72in screen, which makes it the biggest single large format screen in LG’s current range.

In terms of spec, it supports Full HD and boasts a 7000/m2 brightness, and 1100:1 contrast ratio. Availability is from now.

Digital signage in fact dominates the company’s stand, with LG showcasing a number of different uses for the technology from fast food restaurants to tram stops. At it’s heart is the company’s SuperSign digital signage system, which ships as a standalone PC unit or a slot-in model that fits the commercial screen range, and governs everything from the M3801S stretched 38in screen that the company has aimed at transport stops and other low-ceiling environments, to the 47in LED Super Narrow Bezel videowall that dominates the stand.
