LG Electronics and Hetec sign promo agreement

Following a widely acclaimed first instalment earlier this year, the second DOOH Business Conference will begin on 1 February 2010 – the day before the Integrated Systems Europe trade show starts – and continue into the morning of the exhibition’s first day.

Ahead of the second event, ISE has announced a new partnership with Munich-based Invidis Consulting, which will develop the conference programme and assist with event promotion. The exhibition organiser will also be supported by OVAB Europe – the European arm of the Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau, and the first independent Europe-wide organisation to represent the interests of AV media providers at POS and POI.

Integrated Systems Events MD Mike Blackman highlighted the importance of digital signage technology to ISE exhibitors, with more than half of the 564 companies present at ISE 2009 active in this market segment.

“At ISE, one of our missions is to build bridges between the people who specify the technical digital signage systems and those whose content runs on them,” said Blackman. “In conjunction with our hugely popular Digital Signage Zone and related exhibits elsewhere on the tradeshow floor, the DOOH Business Conference 2010 will make these connections stronger than ever before, presenting a compelling business opportunity for delegates.”

In other news, Integrated Systems Europe and MidExpo are preparing for the third edition of Integrated Systems Russia. Taking place on 8-10 December at the same location as the inaugural show of 2007 – Gostiniy Dvor convention centre in Moscow – the event is set to include the aforementioned new features, all of which will be augmented with specially devised seminars. The ProIntegration Awards, meanwhile, will be presented at a ceremony during the show’s Opening Reception on 8 December.

AMX, Christie, Crestron, DIS, Extron, Kindermann, Kramer, Mitsubishi, Projecta, projectiondesign and Tecom are among the companies to have confirmed their involvement.
