KLOTZ Cables says that a focus of its participation at Prolight + Sound 2011 (Messe Frankfurt – 6-9 April) will be new applications and uses for the company’s Multicore series, and new products and applications in its fibre optic cable range. New products will include a Universal Multicore System. Designed for network-based equipment, it includes a power supply and additional functions providing, according to KLOTZ, a sophisticated all-in-one solution for an array of sound and lighting applications. Also new are KLOTZ’s Digital Audio Backbone System (DABS), a fibre optic transmission system with analogue interfaces for audio signal transmission between stage, FOH and recording with direct analogue monitor outputs, and FibreFlex eXtreme2, which is described as a new generation of ultra-rugged fibre optic cables for mobile applications.
