Informa Telecoms & Media has released details of the Connected Home World Summit, which will take place at Grand Connaught Rooms, London, on 28/29 June.

Motorola, Jungo, Lea and Twonky are among the sponsors of an event designed to explore the future technological and economic development of the connected home sector.

Tim Wright (pictured), vice-president of technology at Sony Pictures Entertainment, and representatives of the BBC, BT and Consumer Electronics Association will be among 30-plus speakers at an event considering subjects including the influence of internet-connected TV, unified cloud services, content protection, partnership models, revenue agreements, and standardisation.

The Connected Home World Summit will be bookended by two related events. On 27 June, a workshop hosted by consumer research and industry experts Park Associates will analyse the current trends and opportunities of the digital home. Subsequent to the conference, on 30 June, an Altman Vilandrie & Company-organised workshop will carry the title ‘Improving Network-Based Service Returns: Why “Planning for the Edge” Matters’.
