Jands releases new Vista L5 lighting control console at PL+S

The Vista L5 lighting control console from Jands makes its European tradeshow debut at Prolight and Sound this year, and arrives following ten years of development for the Vista range.

CEO of lighting manufacturer Jands, Paul Mulholland, unveiled the company’s new flagship media and lighting control console, the Vista L5, at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt.

He explained it is “the perfect integration of Jands’ original concept and the industry’s demands for it”, in relation to the 10 years of development the company has invested into Vista range.

Running on Vista v2 software, the Vista L5 offers the “definitive worksurface”. To display content, the console has an integrated 21in HD display. It also offers 16 universes of DMX, and is powered by an Intel i7 processor. Other details include 8GB of RAM, a Linux Operating system and a backlit keyboard.

“The Vista range features cost-effective Mac and Windows control surfaces perfectly suited to an individual’s budget, right up to the flagship Vista L5,” said Jands Europe’s Neil Vann. “The Vista v2 software provides the tools to unlock the creative potential of a design by thinking about the end result rather than the steps in the middle. It offers the simplicity to be able to work fast, with the power to adjust the finest details when desired, to consistently and quickly deliver a great looking show.”
