Three of Italy’s leading audio, lighting and staging rental companies have joined forces to create All Access – and have opened their account by making a significant investment in Martin Audio’s Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array (MLA).
The three companies involved are Fumasoli Service, Electra Service and Amandla Production. The founding partners decided to form All Access during the first demo of the MLA, organised by Audiosales, the Martin Audio distributor in Italy.
Since the three companies have always used Martin Audio’s systems – from the old modular system to the RS800, the F1, the W8, the W8L Longbow, the W8LC and the W8LM – the recommendation had been proposed by head of Audiosales, Stefano Rocchi, who could see the obvious synergies that could be exploited.
As a consequence, the first order for 72 enclosures was placed, comprising two complete systems – totaling 44 MLA elements, four MLD downfills and 24 MLX subs. A scalable rig will make its debut on next month’s arena tour by top Italian rock band Subsonica.
“This investment will enable All Access to be competitive on the national and international touring scene for at least the next ten years,” said Stefano Rocchi, “offering the possibility to expose this prestigious system both to colleagues in the market and to the audiences that will attend the shows. It will also enable its customers to exploit all the revolutionary potential of this new system, which is based on a highly innovative technology.”
The pursuit of technological development in order to meet the evolving requirements of the entertainment industry is a bond shared by all three firms. It did not take them long to agree on this investment once Martin Audio had launched the system described as “the most intelligent touring system ever”.
In order to demonstrate that this revolutionary system, which combines Martin Audio’s design heritage with pioneering technologies, would deliver a new listening experience to every seat in the house, Audiosales decided to organise a demo event at the Palabam in Mantova, which was attended by many business operators.
The three rental company supremos were amazed by the quality and performance – and thus began the idea for setting up a new enterprise.
“There was a lot of enthusiasm for the MLA from the very beginning — especially for the multi-cellular approach and the powerful tuning software,” said Rocchi. “As it happened, Subsonica were planning their tour at the same time as All Access was born — and this provided the right opportunity at the right time.”
All Access’s long term aim is to build up an inventory of cutting edge audio, video and lighting equipment for rental and offer full technical support. Whatever the event their goal will be to deliver the highest production values, relying on the expertise of the engineers they work with, and become a reference in large scale live events in Italy.
