Smaller Griffyn laser-focused on brighter projection

The bright stuff: Christie’s latest Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser projector

The new Griffyn 4K35-RGB is one of the smallest and lightest high-brightness RGB pure laser projectors available, delivering 36,500 lumens in an all-in-one compact design, weighing 81kg. There is also a new 4K50-RGB model on show this week, delivering 50,000 lumens while operating at 55dBA at full brightness.

Joel St-Denis, director of product management, Christie, said: “The new Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser projector features our latest advancements including TruLife+ electronics, which eliminates the hassle of removable options cards with all-in connectivity. With electronic colour convergence (ECC), convergence can be adjusted via the remote for perfect colour alignment.”

The 4K35-RGB can operate on single-phase 200-240V AC at full brightness, or 100-120V AC at a reduced brightness, increasing its operational life.

The projector features integrated Christie Twist for warping and blending and is compatible with Christie Mystique, Christie’s automated camera-based alignment and recalibration system to quickly install, align, calibrate, and maintain multi-projection systems.
