Prototypes of IP power solutions with smart switching and remote-control features from Gude Systems have been introduced at ISE. For AV experts, these power distribution units should mean faster-managed service and fewer downtimes.
Small and compact with two or four switchable ports, the units are designed to fit behind any television or flat screen, powering AV installations found in media racks and smart homes.
Manuel Altheim, marketing manager, Gude Systems, said: “These solutions can manage power supplies, humidity, temperature and control energy efficiency within the smart home. To retain the clean lines and smart looks they hide easily behind any kind of screen.”
Gude is also showcasing devices for UC and huddle rooms, as well as large remote power switches suitable for big AV infrastructure.
