Following an earlier announcement, ISE has shared further details of “Spark,” a new cross‑industry initiative at ISE 2026, designed to bridge the creative‑technology and pro AV sectors and encourage collaboration between broadcast, live events, gaming, design and storytelling. The event will run from February 3-6, 2026 at Fira de Barcelona.
Spark is described as a 1,000sqm area within Hall 8.1, equipped with a creative stage, an immersive zone and activation spaces that allow attendees to experiment with immersive LED environments, spatial audio, AI‑based production workflows and interactive storytelling.
Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE (pictured), said: “With boundaries between creative disciplines fading, Spark highlights how broadcast is merging with gaming, and design integrates with live events, offering a firsthand look at the future of cross‑industry collaboration.”
ISE says that for pro AV integrators, system designers and AV/IT professionals, Spark signals a shift in focus beyond traditional installations into hybrid workflows, immersive experiences and content‑led system design. The initiative reflects how pro AV projects are increasingly defined by convergence: audio, video, network, control and content coming together in single solutions.
The inclusion of Spark forms part of a wider strategy at ISE 2026, which will also feature new zones for cybersecurity, EdTech, and high‑end listening suites for immersive audio.
